Sports & Muscle Recovery
Acupuncture is a highly effective, time-tested treatment for sports injuries because it resolves pain, accelerates healing and increases range of motion.
Research has shown that there is a notably higher rate of getting pregnant naturally when reinforced by acupuncture than western medication.

How does Acupuncture Work?
I don't think anyone knows the complete answer to this question yet. We do understand several different mechanisms of acupuncture, but there are almost certainly mechanisms that we don't fully understand yet. Some of the mechanisms for how acupuncture works that we do know about are:
-
Stimulates the release of endorphins to regulate pain
-
Fascial planes
-
Has systemic and complex effects on the central nervous system
-
Growth Control Theory of Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been proven to increase the flow of blood through the skin, hydrating and boosting the skin’s supply of oxygen and nutrients, thus reducing the signs of ageing.
